Staffordshire Bull Terrier - Annie - Medium - Young - Female for sale in Westmoreland, Kansas

Staffordshire Bull Terrier - Annie - Medium - Young - Female
Annie's little tail wags the whole time she is on her walk. She is currently in a foster home and they say she is one of the sweetest dogs they have had. They've been adding "bell" to the end of her name, making it Annabell. But they say she will come to anything, as long as shes getting loved on! They haven't heard her growl once, she is an easy dog to fall for! Annie is around 1 y/o and weighs 50 lbs although she doesn't look very large.
Annie doesn't look like she will get very big. Even though she is young she has been waiting to potty until she goes outside. A very nice dog!
For more information about this pet or the adoption process, please call (785)

or email us at [email removed] for an application. Completing an adoption application is the first step in our adoption process. After we receive the adoption application we can set up a meeting for you with him/her and his foster family or arrange a meeting at the shelter. This helps us to make sure we find the best match for you and the pets in our care.
Dogs are spayed/neutered, heart worm tested, and receive all of their vaccinations. We keep the dogs on monthly heart worm and flea/tick preventative until they are adopted.
Most of the dogs on Petfinder are at the Wamego Shelter and would benefit greatly by having a foster home. If you would like to be a foster home please email [email removed] for more information and an application. PCHS pays for all expenses. The foster homes provide love and guidance for their foster dog or cat until they are adopted.
The Pottawatomie County Caring Hearts Humane Society was founded in June, 2005 by a group of citizens who were concerned for the welfare of homeless pets in the Wamego area. Since then, the organization has grown to over 50 members from all over Pottawatomie County and the surrounding area. We are a volunteer, 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization working with many other local shelters and humane societies for the welfare of animals. Our mission is to ensure that all dogs impounded receive proper medical care and are treated in a humane manner. We promote the adoption and fostering of dogs that are homeless and/or not claimed by their owners. We organize and provide various services at the Wamego City Pound. We adopt unclaimed dogs from the Pound and find them new homes or place them in our foster homes. We ensure they are vaccinated, neutered or spayed, and advertised on the leading pet adoption website, Petfinder.com. Prospective homes are screened before the dogs are adopted out and charged a fee to help cover our vet expenses. Since April, 2005, over 600 pound dogs have been adopted by loving families who saw our ads in the local media or on Petfinder.com. We facilitate local adoptions regularly, and sometimes make matches from many miles away. What can you do to help? If you support what we are doing then join our group! We are happy to receive members at all levels of participation. Just by joining you increase the number of members we have, thus giving us a bigger voice in the community. Other ways you can help: Become a foster home provider. We are always in need of more foster homes, both for dogs and cats. Foster homes are a temporary, safe place for a dog to live until it can be adopted. We provide food, vet care, crates and any other items the dog may need during his stay with the Foster home. Participate in our fundraising activities. This is how we raise money to pay veterinary expenses. Come to the Pound and help walk dogs! We walk the dogs mornings and evenings. Its great exercise and the dogs really look forward to their time out of the kennels. And you just might make a new furry friend. Make a donation. We have a wish list on our website for our most needed items. We are also grateful for monetary donations, which go toward vet expenses, placement of dogs, and future programs.
